Tim Buchanan Ex ASU player Gets Called up to the Reds

tim-buchanan

Tim Buchanan an ASU alumni Varsity player has made the Reds squad in Queensland Australia for the line-up against the Force this weekend. Buchanan played for ASU Varsity squad in 2009-2010 where he honed his skills that helped him debut his professional rugby career.
Buchanan, 26, most often plays at lock for University in Queensland’s Premier Rugby competition yet his 109kg frame will be used for impact at flanker against Western Force and their top back row trio.
Buchanan is that rare, modern player who has built a big bank of form and results at club level before being given a sniff of professional rugby. He won the 2010 and 2012 premierships with Uni and was the Tony Shaw Medallist as best player in the latter grand final triumph.
